We are easily accessible from the rail and ferry ports of Calais in a 'genuine' 3 1\2 hrs drive!
Set within a fenced private estate of 12 acres, a peaceful secure environment beckons anglers to relax and concentrate on big carp fishing in complete exclusive privacy!

The history of the Lake.
Like many others, being passionate about carp fishing since childhood, the owner acted without hesitation when the opportunity arose for him to purchase his own Lake some 18 years ago. He then set about trying to create a Carp Fishing Paradise!
Once the lake was purchased, no expense was spared in draining, de snagging, swim building and generally clearing the lake bed to create what we hope you will recognise today as a carp angling haven.
Then, after water & electricity were installed to the site, a Lodge was built to cater for anglers needs in comfort and the lake was stocked and made ready for angling.
18 years later the results that have been achieved by the same owner are regarded by some of the anglers lucky enough to have fished Etang de mimi as second to none!

Regular netting is carried out to keep control of any nuisance fish, which do grow in numbers if uncontrolled due to the excellent quality of the spring fed Lake.
There are 8 swims to choose from, 2 of which are social doubles, allowing a maximum of 4 anglers per week to pit their wits & tactics against the decent stock of strong, healthy, hard fighting carp.
Apart from the Original 23 Fish, resident when the lake was purchased, the bulk of the fish were originally stocked in 2005 (nothing under 20 LBS) and following regular re stocking have today grown into the magnificent examples of (mostly) mirror's and common carp, up to approx 55 lbs+ which continue to increase in weight every year!
